Past Action

As fallen leaves become the fertile earth that shapes the future of the tree, our past thoughts, speech, and actions fertilize the nature our minds.

The fallen leaves blanket the earth around the base of the tree from whence they came, breaking down into nutrient rich compost that now nurtures's their old home's growth.

Similarly, our past, painted in the hues of wholesome or unwholesome actions, serve as the soil from which future action will spring forth.

Through proper reflection we can break down the past, forming an honest assessment from which we can determine, with our ultimate best interest in mind, which actions are to be repeated, and which are to be abandoned.

In this way we play an active role in determining our own future growth.
